Dane County Regional Airport Announces Return of Nonstop Service to Los Angeles on Newest Carrier Breeze Airways

MADISON, WI – Dane County Regional Airport (DCRA) is kicking off 2024 with the announcement of the return of nonstop service to Los Angeles (LAX) via brand-new carrier Breeze Airways. The new summer seasonal service will depart twice weekly starting May 22, 2024, and will cater to both leisure and business travelers, making it even easier to access the West Coast and beyond from DCRA.
 

"We are delighted to announce this exciting new destination for Dane County Regional Airport," said Dane County Executive Joe Parisi. "The return of nonstop service to Los Angeles with our newest partner, Breeze Airways, underscores our commitment to meeting the travel needs of our residents. This new route not only enhances domestic and international connectivity, but also opens up endless possibilities for business, tourism, and cultural exchanges between our communities."
 

Breeze Airways will soon kick off inaugural flights to Tampa and Orlando, Florida, in early February. “Everyone at MSN is thrilled to have nonstop service to LAX back for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, and that Breeze Airways is adding yet another destination even before they’ve kicked off their inaugural flights,” said Airport Director Kim Jones. “Our air service development team has been working hard to continue to cultivate carrier relationships and to demonstrate that our travelers prefer to fly local through MSN. The best thing area residents can do is to choose MSN as they make their travel arrangements, so we can continue expanding flights and airlines.”
