Luminary Winter Hike

Join Dane County Parks to enjoy an evening stroll under the winter stars. After getting out on the trails, warm up by the fire and enjoy hot cocoa, cider or s'mores! An indoor area will be available for warming up in our Nature Center space, where you can view our ambassador animals and do a winter-themed craft. 

CANCELED DUE TO NO SNOW- Ho-Chunk Nation will also be building a snow snake experience at this event. Snow Snake consists of creating a stocky, long berm of packed snow with a semi-circle down the middle. Players create their own snow snakes from sticks, old broom handles, or whatever creation they design and compete to see who tosses their snake the farthest down the track. Come try it out!

Cost: Free. S'mores & Hot Cocoa will be available with donation to our environmental education center.
